Without Permission - End Sex Trafficking

Without Permission is a nonprofit organization committed to combating human trafficking through prevention, intervention, and survivor support. They work to rescue and restore victims by providing advocacy, resources, and trauma-informed care to help survivors rebuild their lives. In addition to direct assistance, Without Permission educates communities, law enforcement, and schools to raise awareness and prevent exploitation before it happens. By mobilizing partnerships and equipping individuals with knowledge, they aim to dismantle human trafficking networks and offer hope to those affected.

Modesto Children's Museum

The Modesto Children’s Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring curiosity, creativity, and learning through hands-on, interactive experiences for children and families. Designed as a space for exploration and discovery, the museum features engaging exhibits that encourage play-based learning in science, technology, art, and culture. With a focus on early childhood development, the museum provides a safe and stimulating environment where kids can learn through play, fostering a lifelong love of discovery. By bringing educational opportunities to the community, the Modesto Children’s Museum helps spark imagination and build foundational skills for the next generation.

Redwood Family Center

Redwood Family Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and children break free from addiction, homelessness, and cycles of instability. Through a faith-based recovery program, they provide safe, structured transitional housing where women can heal, develop life skills, and work toward family reunification. The center emphasizes personal accountability, sobriety, and spiritual growth, offering support services that empower residents to rebuild their lives. By fostering a community of healing and transformation, Redwood Family Center helps women regain independence and create a stable future for themselves and their children.

Children’s Crisis Center of Stanislaus County

The Children's Crisis Center of Stanislaus County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting at-risk children from abuse, neglect, and family crises. They provide emergency shelter, respite care, and crisis intervention services for children in vulnerable situations, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing environment during times of instability. In addition to direct care, the center offers case management and family support programs to help parents overcome challenges and create safer homes. By intervening early and providing compassionate care, the Children's Crisis Center works to prevent harm and give children the stability and security they deserve.

First Tee

First Tee – Central Valley is a youth development nonprofit that uses golf as a platform to teach life skills, build character, and empower young people across the region. Serving ages 5 to 17 in Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mariposa, and Merced counties, the program blends golf instruction with lessons in respect, honesty, and perseverance. Through supportive coaching and a positive environment, participants gain confidence on and off the course. First Tee helps kids grow into strong, capable individuals by providing experiences that shape their future, both in the game and in life.

The Salvation Army Modesto Corps

​The Salvation Army Modesto Corps is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families in Stanislaus County. Through a wide range of programs, they provide essential services such as food distribution, emergency shelter, utility assistance, and disaster relief. Their Child Development Center offers early education and childcare for children aged 3 to 6, fostering a nurturing environment for lifelong learning. Additionally, the Red Shield Community Center serves as a hub for youth and family programs, including after-school activities, fitness classes, and spiritual enrichment. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term development, The Salvation Army Modesto Corps plays a vital role in strengthening the community and offering hope to those in crisis.

Community Hospice

Community Hospice & Health Services is a nonprofit organization providing compassionate end-of-life care and grief support to individuals and families across the Central Valley. Founded in 1979, it has grown to serve multiple counties with a wide range of services including hospice and palliative care, pediatric support, and counseling for those navigating loss. Their dedicated team helps patients live with dignity and comfort, whether at home or at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House. Through programs like Camp Wokini and HOPE Counseling, Community Hospice brings healing and hope to people of all ages during life’s most difficult moments.
