In October 2005, Kaiser Permanente broke ground on a 1.45 million square foot, state of the art medical center - the first full-service hospital to be built in Modesto in nearly 40 years.  The first phase of the facility is scheduled to open in October 2006 and fully completed in fall 2008.  When the hospital is up and running, members will receive some of the most advanced health care in the Central Valley.
